Harry Potter pets

This is such a cute idea. I’m a fan of Harry Potter, but my siblings can’t stand Harry Potty. That’s what they call him. This is one of the reasons why I hardly get to watch the movies on it. However, I don’t like J. K. Rowling as such. She very conveniently steals from here & there, & then she gets away with it as well. And to this day I can’t understand as to why Dumbledore was shown gay in the last book. Moreover, J. K. Rowling was seen wearing T-shirt that read Dumbledore is gay. What could be more absurd than that! It just didn’t look good on her. I don’t think bad of gays. I’m totally on their side, but I don’t think this kind of change was required in the book. Plus her obsession with Holy Grail & depicting Harry as someone having royal-cum-pure blood was annoying. But anyway, she has written good books after stealing from others.

Limit Dog Chaining in New York

Chaining dogs for hours on end is a cruel practice that is not only uncomfortable for dogs, but can be deadly if the dog is restricted from access to water, food or shelter.

New York City Council members will soon vote on a bill to restrict the number of hours that a dog can be chained, to make the maximum hours of chaining no more than three hours in a twelve hour period.

This bill is an important step in animal welfare, and passing this bill in New York will hopefully mean more cities will follow. For the sake of the animals, chained and unable to move more than mere feet, urge New York City Council members to pass Intro. 425 and limit dog chaining.

Help Strays in Romania

It has come to the attention of the entire world, the horrible treatment of animals in Romania, the daily mass killings of strays not only by individuals, who most of the time are not even investigated by the Police, but in the majority of cities of Romania, the representatives of ANSVSA - DSV continue to KILL STRAYS based on an article ( article 7 ) which has become inoperable after the entering into force of the Law nr.205/2004 and the Law 9/2008.

The fact that article 7 has been abrogated is very clearly exposed in an official letter sent by the ANSVSA in 2009, which will be attached to the present petition.

It is OBVIOUS that the euthanasia of strays in the cities pounds, all over Romania, at this POINT IN TIME, is done ILLEGALLY....most of the employees of ANSVSA/DVS, including very many veterinarians DO NOT APPLY THE laws from 2004 and 2008, let alone the fact that the European Convention for Animals Welfare Ratified in 2004 and entered in force in Romania in 2005 is completely overlooked.

We ask the ANSVSA to immediately instruct all its territorial representatives to immediately implement the laws from 2004 and 2008, to STOP THE KILLING OF STRAYS and to punish those who KILLED THOSE ANIMALS.

It is outrageous to see the horrifying cruelty animals - mostly stray dogs - are subjected to in Romania.

Please sign this petition…it might help some strays in Romania who are still alive. Thank you!
